Covid-19

COVID-19 is a disease caused by new Coronavirus infection (SARS-CoV-2).

The disease is predominantly manifested by respiratory symptoms, including fever, cough and difficulty breathing, and there may also be other symptoms, including odynophagia (sore throat), generalized muscle pain, headache (headaches), weakness, and , less frequently, nausea/vomiting and diarrhea.

Based on current scientific evidence, this virus is mainly transmitted through:

− Direct contact: spread of respiratory droplets, produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes or speaks, which can be inhaled or land in the mouth, nose or eyes of people who are nearby (< 2 meters).
